The Abdominal Imaging Fellowship is a 12-month training program offering extensive experience in cross-sectional oncologic imaging including CT, MRI, ultrasound, PET/CT and a generous set of electives both within the institution and in the Texas Medical Center to supplement any training requirement for the successful fellow as required. Fellows are offered a well-structured curriculum, scheduled didactic lectures, journal clubs and case conferences. Active participation in the tumor boards offers an unrivalled opportunity to observe and learn from some of the best Cancer physicians in the world.
The Department of Abdominal Radiology is one of the busiest departments in the country with very high volumes of studies and equipped with state-of-the-art equipment including dozens of latest MRI, CT, US, PET/CT equipment and post processing software to match. Active participation in research and clinical quality initiatives is a requirement for successful completion of the program.
Comprehensive Abdominal Imaging and Cancer Imaging training with emphasis on MRI, PET/CT, CT, Ultrasound, and with opportunity to do up to 3 electives in MSK, Neuro, Thoracic, IR, Breast Imaging, cardiac imaging and Women’s Imaging. Allows the fellows to ‘customize’ your experience for a career in academics or private practice.
