Postdoctoral researcher in medical imaging physics
The Department of Radiation Oncology at University of Colorado Cancer Center is seeking a postdoctoral researcher in the area of cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) physics.  We are developing novel imaging technologies to improve tissue visualization and quantitative accuracy in CBCT in this National Cancer Institute funded project. This is expected to lead to significant advances in adaptive radiation therapy, and utilization of CBCT in treatment response and toxicity assessments. The postdoctoral fellow will be directly responsible for the development of new image processing algorithms and optimization of novel imaging hardware in our research CBCT platform.
