The University of Nebraska Medical Center, Department of Radiology seeks applications from Board-certified radiologists with outstanding credentials in neuroradiology. The successful candidate will spend substantial time on neuroradiology. Potential opportunity to participate in non-neuroradiology also exists. The division of neuroradiology covers brain, spine, orbit and head and neck imaging. The successful candidate will have interest and expertise in MR spectroscopy, MR perfusion/permeability analysis, fMRI, diffusion tensor imaging (including tractography) and CT/MR angiography. The neuroradiologist will also perform myelography and image guided lumbar punctures. The clinical work includes active interactions with otolaryngology, ophthalmology, neurology, neurosurgery, radiation oncology and participation in associated tumor boards. Night coverage is provided by radiologists employed by the department and includes subspecialized neuroradiologists. The neuroradiology section has seven full and part-time members in addition to the three neuroradiologists that provide coverage at night.
