Our North Florida private practice seeks fellowship-trained neuro-radiologist to join busy Neuroradiology section on a partnership track. Position involves a high percentage of subspecialty volume. Seeking candidate with experience in advanced MR imaging and CT imaging including CT and MR perfusion. Selected candidate should be affable, service-oriented and a team player. Radiology Associates of Tallahassee is the dominant imaging group in the Florida Panhandle with a wide service area and all relevant subspecialties. Compensation is above average. Light call schedule with group-employed night coverage in place. Full benefits including CME, retirement, cash balance plan, malpractice, disability, medical insurance, etc. The Neuroradiology section is a high-level, collegial group comprised of three current CAQ neuroradiologists seeking a fourth. Referring clinical services include 4 neurosurgeons, busy ENT group, and large neurology practice. The section works closely with three endovascular neurosurgeons who perform the full complement of stroke interventions, aneurysm coiling etc. The candidate can expect high volume with a high percentage of neuro exams that include vascular studies, a busy neuro-oncology practice, and head & neck cases. Group works at the premiere regional medical center, operates a full service imaging center including PET / MRI / CT etc., and covers additional locations digitally. Located in Northwest Florida, Tallahassee is the state capital and the home of Florida State University, Florida A&M University, and Tallahassee Community College. The combination of State government and the universities creates an extremely stable economic environment. Tallahassee is a desirable community, with a surrounding population of over 300,000, which has attracted excellent physicians and is an ideal place to raise a family. The Gulf of Mexico and local beaches are within 90 miles. With warm weather for most of the year and excellent school zones, Tallahassee is a wonderful place to live and practice medicine.
