Interventional Radiologist

The University of Chicago's Department of Radiology is searching for full-time faculty members to add to our growing section of Vascular and Interventional Radiology. Appointment is at assistant or associate professor level. Academic rank and compensation are dependent upon qualifications. Responsibilities will include the full spectrum of interventional radiology procedures with strong oncologic, hepatobiliary, transplant, trauma, vascular including CTA imaging, dialysis, non-vascular, portal venous, women’s, and pediatric interventional radiology services. Educational responsibilities will include teaching at all levels within a large academic center, including medical student, resident and fellow training. Faculty members have dedicated academic time with many opportunities available to develop research interests in collaboration with our strong basic science group as well as other clinical and basic science departments throughout the campus. Prior to the start of employment qualified individuals must: 1) be American Board of Radiology certified or eligible, 2) have completed a vascular /interventional radiology fellowship or IR/DR residency, 3) have an active medical license in the state of Illinois, and 4) be available for appointment beginning in July 2021 or as soon as possible thereafter.
