The Department of Radiological Sciences at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is recruiting for a full-time Assistant or Associate Professor in Musculoskeletal Imaging in the Health Science Clinical (HSC) or in-Residence Series. Titles in the HSC Series are assigned to academically qualified individuals who are in full-time service of the University, who are excellent in teaching and clinical service, and who are engaged in creative academic activities. This position is 100% within the Musculoskeletal Imaging Section. A strong interest in teaching and in clinical work is highly valued, as is an interest in innovative MR imaging and image-guided interventions. The Department is seeking candidates with the potential for being outstanding in the above noted requirements, in clinical work, in clinical research, in teaching, and in having a clear commitment to enhancing the diversity of the faculty, staff, and trainees. For the in-Residence position, a strong track record of research, publication, and grant funding is required. Candidates must be eligible for California licensure and American Board of Radiology certification, and have completed a one-year Musculoskeletal Imaging fellowship. Knowledge and experience in musculoskeletal intervention, ultrasound, MRI, MR arthrography, CT, and percutaneous biopsy are required. A strong interest in teaching and in clinical work is highly valued, as is an interest in innovative MR imaging and image-guided interventions.
