The department of Radiology at the Children's Hospital Colorado (CHCO), affiliated with University of Colorado Denver, is now accepting applications for the ACGME- accredited Pediatric Radiology fellowship and the Non-ACGME Pediatric Neuroradiology fellowship for the 2021-2022 academic year (start date July 8, 2021). The division of Pediatric Radiology at the Children's Hospital Colorado has grown at a rapid pace. With 27 dedicated CAQ certified pediatric radiologists and subspecialty expertise in neuroimaging, fetal, musculoskeletal, interventional, body, chest and cardiac imaging, we perform approximately 180,000 exams per year.
The Pediatric Radiology fellowship is a one-year program with goal of proficiency in all pediatric imaging modalities for the unique clinical problems of the newborn, infant, child, and adolescent, including radiographs, US, CT, MRI, fetal MRI, nuclear medicine including PET/CT and fluoroscopy. Hands-on Ultrasound scanning and outstanding daily teaching are emphasized (fellow case of the day series, fellow core lecture series) as well as active participation in preparing and presenting multidisciplinary conferences.
Prerequisite training includes completion of a diagnostic radiology residency program accredited by the ACGME or Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and board certification in diagnostic radiology (American Board of Radiology).
