The Department of Radiology at Weill Cornell Medicine, along with its partners NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and Weill Cornell Imaging at NewYork-Presbyterian, seek a full-time faculty member with expertise in Abdominal Imaging. The successful candidate will have an MD degree and American Board of Radiology certification. Preferred applicants will have dedicated fellowship training in abdominal imaging, though mid-career applicants with specialized experience in abdominal imaging could also be considered.
Candidates should have strong clinical and interpersonal skills as our workflow includes routine patient and referrer communication, especially while covering multidisciplinary tumor boards. The Division of Abdominal Imaging has 17 faculty members and 3-4 abdominal imaging fellows, providing the full range of body imaging at our outpatient offices and hospital-based sites, with residents and fellows from our highly ranked training programs rotating through many of these sites. Experience in all modalities including US, CT, MRI and PET/CT is desired. No interventional procedures are performed by our group.
Protected time is provided to allow candidates to focus on areas of interest including research, teaching/education and administration.
