The Department of Radiology at the University of Louisville School of Medicine is looking to recruit an experienced radiologist for the position of Vice Chair for Clinical Affairs.
This newly created leadership opportunity will ensure the highest level of patient care and outcomes. Reporting to the Chair of Radiology, the Vice Chair for Clinical Affairs will lead the development and implementation of process improvements in clinical affairs and care delivery, while maintaining a clinical practice. The Vice Chair role will be vital in consideration of the departments mission in patient care and education.
Facilitate high quality patient centered inpatient/outpatient radiology care, including ensuring appropriate faculty coverage at all ULH facilities.
Work with the Chair of Radiology, and hospital leadership to design and lead a team to evaluate the appropriate use of faculty coverage at the various practice sites.
Develop innovative approaches to enhancing access to radiology services including inpatient, outpatient and telehealth programs.
Utilizing market data, explore strategic-growth opportunities in the region.
Maintain a clinical practice

Experienced radiologist with experience developing and running programs
Subspecialty fellowship training preferred
Interested in mentoring junior faculty and residents
