The Department of Radiology (http://radiology.ucsd.edu) is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body. The department is seeking qualified candidates with expertise in Emergency Radiology and an interest in clinical service and teaching of medical students, fellows and residents.
The Emergency Radiology Faculty will provide imaging interpretation for the UCSD Radiology evening shift. The Faculty will interpret multimodal cross-sectional and radiographic studies from the Emergency Department, Trauma, and Inpatient services. The Faculty will also provide supervision of residents and fellows with teaching responsibilities both at the workstation and in didactic spaces.
The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on the University of California pay scales. Appointments may require candidates to be self-funded. As a member of the Health Sciences Compensation Plan, the appointee should be aware that there are limitations on outside professional activities and clinical moonlighting is expressly prohibited.
