Tahoe Forest Health System (Truckee, CA) is seeking a BC/BE, fellowship-trained radiologist for a full-time position. The candidate should possess a broad range of skills and enjoy all aspects of diagnostic radiology while committed to offering a subspecialty level of expertise to the practice. We are recruiting due to senior partners moving to part time status and a growing practice.
The department consists of four fellowship trained radiologists functioning in a multi-modality community-based setting. We practice at a single critical access level III trauma center hospital campus that allows daily active collaboration between each other and medical staff in a supportive and collegial environment.
Enjoy working with state-of-the-art imaging equipment in a technologically advanced department. The practice has both the ideal size, location, and relationships that prevent vulnerability from large “super-groups”; while still allowing individual flexibility and active practice involvement. Personal satisfaction, lifestyle, and vacation time are a priority for the group and always will be.
Employment is offered with generous salary and benefits package:
Starting compensation is equal from the start.
Comprehensive health, disability, and professional liability package.
Paid licenses/dues, expense account, and generous CME allowance.
Fully funded retirement benefits with a profit-sharing plan.
Nighthawk service covers from 5pm to 8am. Call shared equally.
All work/vacation schedules are equitable with excellent flexibility.
Current work schedule is 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off with two radiologists splitting days Monday through Friday, and one radiologist covering the weekend. Work hours are 8AM-5PM.
Overall combination of compensation, vacation, and enjoyable work days with cohesive partners provides for an excellent work-life balance.
Truckee is a wonderful place to live, work, and raise a family. Enjoy the Lake Tahoe lifestyle and everything it has to offer including world-class skiing, boating, mountain biking, water sports and excellent restaurants.
