Advanced Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (CT/MRI)
The Advanced Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (CT/MRI), performs advanced imaging exams with at least 25% of the time working divided between Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Computed Tomography (CT) examinations in the Radiology Service Line, at the Kansas City VA Medical Center. The Advanced DRT (Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist) provides on-call coverage in the modality as necessary. Major Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Practices radiation safety in order to reduce exposure to patient, staff and self. The incumbent must also be aware of and practice the safety policies/procedures of the medical center and participate in quality assurance activities as directed. Operates a Superconductive Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scans and a Spiral/Helical Compute
