We have an opening for ONE neuroradiology fellow at the University of Louisville School of Medicine for July 2022. The fellowship will include rotations with vascular neurosurgery, neuropathology, radiation oncology and a pain-medicine elective, as well as pediatric neuroradiology at Norton Children’s Hospital. Five of our current faculty and one at Norton Children’s Hospital, are subspecialty board-certified in Neuroradiology. We have experienced staff with expertise in all advanced imaging modalities, including fMRI, MRS, DTI, and nuclear-medicine/PET, as well as a varied and exceptional case mix from our strong referral services, including the James Graham Brown Cancer Center, a Level 1 trauma center and comprehensive stroke care center at University of Louisville Hospital, and a pediatric level 1 trauma center at Norton Children’s Hospital. Interventional experiences include training in lumbar punctures, myelograms, vertebral augmentations, biopsies, catheter angiography, and interventional pain procedures.

Applicants will have completed or will be in their last year of an ACGME/ACGME-i/RCPSC accredited or AOA approved Diagnostic Radiology residency program. (Limited exceptions for these requirements from outstanding international medical graduates who have completed radiology residency still requires ECFMG certification, review of prior training, AND approval from the UofL GME.
