Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Fusion Imaging Technologist)
The position of Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Fusion Imaging Technologist) is located at the Western North Carolina VA Health Care System in Asheville, NC. Under general supervision, independently administer radiopharmaceuticals, operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment and perform required quality activities to generate diagnostic images and quantitative analyses to diagnose disease and guide patient management. The duties below are not all inclusive of what the incumbent will perform. Quality and Compliance -Perform required procedures for safe receipt, handling, transport, usage, storage and disposal of radioactive materials compliant with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), National Health Physics Program (NHPP), Department of Transportation (DOT) and license conditions.
