Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (CT)
The Advanced DRT (CT) performs computerized tomography of the head, neck, spine, chest, and body with and without the use of contrast material. He/she explains the procedure to each patient and gives instructions for successful completion of the exam, confers with the radiologist on establishing requirements of non-standard procedures, assists in determining proper CT protocols for various disease processes, and assists in performing needle biopsies and other invasive procedures. The Advanced DRT (CT) will be responsible for:-Maintaining patient records and preparing the administration of oral and intravenous contrast media; Performing 3-dimensional reconstructions of CT images and sending the acquired information to PACS; PACS and its interface with the CT system is necessary; Independen
