MRI Technologist
The MRI Tech (Technologist) performs various MRI services, including preparing and operating the MRI equipment, positioning patients correctly and effectively recording the requested diagnostic images under the direction of the Radiologist. The MRI Tech is responsible for patient safety and the performance of high quality MRI studies. Process images, and confers with radiologists as needed. Responsibilities: Follows precise procedures for exposure, positioning, and safety of patients. Assures proper quality of images for each radiological procedure. Positions patients according to radiologists' protocols. Maintains security and control of meds within department. Obtains proper patient/image requisition identification in order
