The Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (DRT) functions as a lead for staff MRI technologists in the Sacramento Valley. Position is an operator of the super conductive Magnetic Resonance Imager (MRI), a highly complex computerized imaging device which employs the use of strong magnetic fields and radio waves to acquire images. Position is assigned as the MR Safety Officer and Co-Chair for the MR Safety Committee. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
