The Department of Radiology and Imaging at the Medical College of Georgia (MCG) at Augusta University, Georgia’s premier Health Sciences University, is recruiting a full-time Chest/Thoracic Radiologist.  The candidate should be board certified in Radiology and preferably fellowship trained in Chest/Thoracic Imaging.  Responsibilities will include a combination of patient care and teaching of medical students and residents in a busy tertiary and quaternary care center.  Academic time is provided and new research projects are encouraged.  Academic rank is commensurate with training and experience.

The main campus , including AU Medical Center and the Children’s Hospital of Georgia, is equipped with 2 IR rooms, three CT scanners (256 and 128), three MRI scanners (3T and 1.5 T), Nuclear-Medicine, PET/CT, 3D mammography, adult and pediatric fluoroscopy, Ultrasound and routine X–ray equipment.  Our free-standing imaging center, AU Health Imaging, is equipped with 2 MRI scanners (3T and 1.5T), 1 CT, 3D mammography, Ultrasound and digital x-ray.
