The Department of Radiology at the University of California--Davis seeks to hire two full-time faculty members at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor rank in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor or Clinical X Radiology series. Rank and series will be dependent on the qualifications of the selected candidate.

Basic requirements include an M.D. or D.O. degree; possess or be eligible for licensure in the State of California; ABR Board eligible or certified in Diagnostic Radiology; completed fellowship training in Neuroradiology; possess or be eligible for a Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) in Neuroradiology; clinical expertise in all aspects of neuroradiology, including imaging of the brain, head and neck, spine, and pediatric neuroimaging; experience in caring for Neuroradiology patients; experience in and ability to teach and supervise medical students, residents and fellows; and have the ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment. Expertise in advanced neuroimaging techniques such as DTI, fMRI, MR spectroscopy, and perfusion imaging is required.

Expectations of a ClinX series is to engage in teaching, research, service and clinical work, while expectations of faculty in the HSCP series are primarily clinical and include teaching, service and scholarly and/or creative activities.
