The Department of Radiology of the LSU Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in New Orleans seeks an affable physician for an academic faculty position in the Neuroradiology division at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Full Professor (non-tenure, clinical track). Our department is dedicated to excellence in patient care, education and scholarly activity.
We provide multi-modality radiology services for University Medical Center – New Orleans. This is a new state of the art facility supporting 300+ beds and the only Level 1 Trauma Center in South Louisiana, the Norman E. McSwain, Jr, MD, Spirit of Charity Trauma Center. We are a collegial group looking for a Neuroradiologist to join our team. Responsibilities will include all aspects of Neuroradiology including imaging and an active role in teaching and scholarship. This is a wonderful opportunity for a radiologist to practice cutting edge radiology in a stimulating and challenging environment. There are ample opportunities to engage in scholarship. We are offering a very competitive salary and benefits package. Academic rank will be determined in accordance with School of Medicine and LSU System criteria.

Required Qualifications:
- Neuroradiology Fellowship
- ABR certified in Neuroradiology or on the pathway to full-board certification
- Licensed to practice medicine in Louisiana before hire date
