Description
This one-year breast imaging fellowship focuses on breast imaging with opportunities to rotate through breast pathology, breast surgery, radiation oncology, and oncology at Stony Brook University Medical Center. Fellows play an active role in interpreting diagnostic and screening mammography, tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and outside film reviews and in performing interventional procedures including MRI-guided breast biopsies. Fellows play a central role in a weekly multidisciplinary case conference and participate in weekly teaching/interesting case conferences. Participation in ongoing research projects with faculty members is encouraged. Learn more about the Carol M. Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
MD, DO, or equivalent. Must obtain NYS Licensure prior to start of Fellowship. Board Certified (Eligible) in Diagnostic Radiology. Must have completed a Diagnostic Radiology Residency at an ACGME accredited institution.
Preferred Qualifications:
Training in all areas of Diagnostic Radiology and Breast Imaging.
