Under the direction of a qualified physician, you’ll use your solid analytical and decision-making abilities to perform the highest quality diagnostic sonography examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment in various modes and techniques to locate, evaluate and record anatomical, pathological, and functional data. You will also train/instruct student sonographers, schedule, coordinate, and record test accurately, and comply with infection control, QA, and standard precaution guidelines.
The successful Sonographer has:
Graduated from an AMA-approved Ultrasound program
Current RDMS certification from ARDMS; BCLS
Preferably 2 years of experience as a Sonographer
Good grasp of sterile technique and experience with interventional procedures
Strong technical, communication, interpersonal, and patient service skills
