The Department of Radiology at Weill Cornell Medicine is offering a full-time faculty position for a Breast Imaging Radiologist at their NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital campus. Proficiency in all aspects of breast imaging is desired including mammography, tomosynthesis, ultrasound, MRI, and interventions. The position could be 100% breast imaging or a mix of breast and other subspecialties depending on candidate preference and background.
NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital is affiliated with Weill Cornell Medicine and is a member of the NewYork-Presbyterian Regional Hospital Network. An academic center located in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York, the Hospital logs over 500,000 outpatient visits and 42,000 inpatient visits annually.
Breast imaging at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist is expanding in tandem with robust multidisciplinary programmatic growth in breast surgery, breast oncology, and radiation oncology. Continued short-term growth is expected in our current hospital-based breast imaging practice. Significant growth is expected in 2023 and beyond as breast imaging relocates to a new 15,000 square-foot practice within the Hospital’s Center for Community Health, the largest and most advanced ambulatory health care facility in Brooklyn.

Candidates are required to have completed (or be in the process of completing) a breast imaging fellowship or breast/body imaging fellowship. Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology and must be eligible to obtain a New York State medical license.
Salary ranges between $300,000 - $550,000 and is commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The salary range listed is for full?time employment not including bonuses, clinical incentive compensation, or benefits. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity, specialty, training, and hospital/community needs.
