Abdominal Imaging Faculty Position – Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor (Open Rank)
Job Summary The University of Colorado Department of Radiology is seeking a full-time faculty member to join its Abdominal Imaging Section at the rank of Assistant, Associate or full Professor, depending on experience. The University of Colorado Hospital is a 620 bed tertiary care center that is the #1 ranked hospital in Colorado, and top 20 in the nation according to US News and World Reports. The Radiology Department is a rapidly growing sub-specialized department with a strong commitment to excellence in Education, Clinical Care and Research. The Department of Radiology has more than 90 faculty members, including physician assistants and imaging scientists, as well as a robust and growing training program with 38 residents and 13 fellows. 95% of the faculty are in an academic track, and the department provides a dedicated research infrastructure including a grants manager, study coordinators, and statistician support. Denver is consistently ranked one of the most livable cities in America, with four seasons, abundant sunshine and easy access to numerous cultural and recreational activities.
Duties
This is a daytime position
No overnight shifts
Approximately 2 evening shifts/month (2-10 pm)
Approximately 7 weekends/year
The successful recruit will be required to participate in all aspects of our clinical practice and to excel in one or more of our other primary missions: education, research, and service. Body Imaging of all modality types, including MR, CT, US, and GI/GU imaging is an important component of this position. Participation and collaboration through interdisciplinary conferences is ongoing. Active participation in fellow, resident and medical student education is expected.
Salary Range:
Assistant, Associate and Full Professor levels: $400,000 to $450,000 (all ranks)

Minimum Qualifications (all ranks)
Assistant Professor:
MD/DO or equivalent, Colorado medical license by time of hire, ABR certified or eligible, abdominal fellowship training.
Associate Professor:
MD/DO or equivalent, Colorado medical license by time of hire, ABR certified or eligible, abdominal fellowship training.
Professor:
MD/DO or equivalent, Colorado medical license by time of hire, ABR certified or eligible, abdominal fellowship training.
Required Competencies (all ranks)
Interpretation of abdominal radiology imaging studies and procedures.
