The salary depends on the level of training and years of experience. Additional variable compensation through RVU-based incentive pay may be available.

Job Summary UC San Diego Department of Radiology (http://radiology.ucsd.edu) is one of the most innovative and productive academic departments in the country, offering state-of the-art services for clinical and translational studies. The Department of Radiology is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body. The department is seeking full-time, fellowship trained, interventional radiologists to join the Division of Interventional Radiology on an annually renewable contract basis to participate in clinical and teaching activities.
Candidates must have an MD, DO or equivalent degree.
Candidate must be board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
Candidate must have or be eligible for a California medical license or equivalent certification/permit as determined by the Medical Board of California.
Candidate must have completed a 1-year or 2-year fellowship/independent interventional radiology residency or an integrated interventional radiology-diagnostic radiology residency.
Candidate must be VIR subspecialty eligible/certified.
Candidate must have a current/pending CA Fluoroscopy license.
Candidate must have an active DEA license.

Previous clinical experience and expertise in all aspects of interventional radiology are preferred. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in novel IR procedures.
