St. Louis Area: Body/Thoracic Diagnostic Radiologist. Target start Summer 2024

Radiologic Imaging Consultants (RIC), ricstl.com, is a historic and progressive Radiology partnership. With 15 physicians, RIC is the largest Radiology group in St. Charles county, the fastest growing county in Missouri and located in the northwestern region of the St. Louis area, explorestlouis.com. The practice has a 60 + year relationship with the SSM hospital network, a large midwestern multi-state non-profit health care system based in St. Louis, Missouri. Sub-specialty focused RIC Radiologists provide community based advanced imaging and interventions in both the hospital and out-patient arena. The main SSM St. Charles county hospitals, one 333 bed and the other 216 bed (the only trauma center in the county), are both stroke and STEMI certified. There are affiliated multidisciplinary oncology and breast outpatient facilities which are designated Centers of Excellence as well as a new outpatient ambulatory surgery center. Compensation (including excellent benefits) and vacation (12+wk for full time) approach the top quartile nationally. Group utilizes overnight teleradiology service.

Radiologic Imaging Consultants is offering a full-time or part-time Radiologist opening targeted to a board certified-eligible applicant with fellowship training with strong interest in the St. Louis or Midwest region.

Radiologists with Body, Abdomen, Thoracic or MRI fellowship are encouraged. The role will optimally include a small (<15% time) amount of Breast Imaging (e.g. vacation coverage for our dedicated breast imagers). 

Applications from candidates finishing fellowship in summer 2024 as well as currently practicing Radiologists are welcome. The position can be structured as a partnership-track position (preferred) or for long term employment (if desired by candidate). A part-time position will also be considered for the appropriate applicant.

The new Radiologist will join our group to account for several partial retirements as well as significant organic volume growth from our partner SSM health system in the St. Charles area.

Requirements

• BC or BE Diagnostic Radiologist with fellowship training in Body, Abdomen, Thoracic or MRI and with competency in breast imaging.
• Capable of obtaining MO Physician License and appropriate BNDD and DEA licensure
• Capable of obtaining hospital privileges
• Capable of active work in a hospital based practice including procedures appropriate to the job description
