Job Description:
Marshfield Clinic Health System in Eau Claire, Wisconsin seeks an additional BC/BE on-site full time diagnostic radiologist on the Eau Claire, WI campus, which encompasses a recently constructed local 56 bed hospital as well as a dedicated cancer center. Fellowship training in abdominal imaging is preferred but not required and additional fellowship training such as musculoskeletal imaging would be considered. The job offers good work/life balance, utilizes custom software to achieve uniform distribution of examinations throughout the day, and will allow the successful applicant to tailor their workload according to individual interests and strengths. Willingness to perform minor image-guided procedures and fluoroscopy is required and occasional multidisciplinary conference participation is expected.
This position would work with additional on-site radiologist as part of a 30+ subspecialty radiologist group, nursing, medical assistant, and administrative staff support is provided. Our on-site radiologists enjoy individual offices and have the opportunity for occasional remote interpretation from home on a department supplied and installed PACS. The typical work day concludes at 5:00pm with rotating pager call responsibility to back up our nighthawk service in case of rare network failure. There is rotating weekend daytime 8:00 AM - 5:00PM work responsibilities shared by the larger pool of Marshfield radiologists with compensatory days during the week.
