Responsible for performing routine to complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in diagnostic radiology to ensure the production of quality images of all anatomical structures for interpretation by a radiologist. May be required to drive between sites.
Effectively operates and maintains required equipment necessary to produce radiographic images.
Adheres to established imaging protocols and ensures quality standards are met.
Follows established standards to ensure a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Supports educational component of the organizational mission statement. Seeks opportunities to teach and learn in accordance with department/organizational standards, policies, and protocols. Provides performance feedback in the form of colleague input during formal performance evaluation period. Feedback should be thoughtful, productive, and objective.
Readily accepts ownership of clinical area. Demonstrates and encourages pride in appearance and ensures readiness of exam rooms, equipment and supplies.

Position Compensation Range: $33.94 - $54.30 Hourly
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Graduate of an accredited JRC program in radiography required. Associate’s degree in radiography preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a diagnostic radiologic technologist.
Licensure: Registered Radiologic Technologist through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT R.T.) required. American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider BLS certification required. Valid Virginia driver’s license may be required.
