The Department of Neurological Surgery at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York is offering a 2-year fellowship position for a Neuro-Endovascular Surgery Fellowship for the period July 2025 – June 2027.
The CAST-certified Neuro-Endovascular Surgery Fellowship Program offers state-of-the-art training in all aspects of neuro-interventional care. We currently perform 1600 vascular procedures, including a large volume of pediatric procedures. There are 4 full-time faculty members from Neurosurgery (2), Radiology and Neurology. The equipment consists of two biplane angiography suites.
North Shore University Hospital is a Comprehensive Stroke Center and the flagship hospital of Northwell Health System. It serves as the accepting hospital for patients with ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke from many regional hospitals. The Division of Interventional Neuroradiology is supported by Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners which allows the fellows to focus primarily on procedures.
Our division participates in many novel research projects. In addition to many industry-supported research studies, we conduct novel physician-initiated clinical research trials on topics such as venous sinus stenting, embolization for subdural hematomas, and intra-arterial neuro-protection for stroke.
Manhasset is located on Long Island, 18 miles from Manhattan. It is an affluent area with many options for outdoor activities, fine dining, shopping and entertainment.
