The Department of Radiology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center/NewYork-Presbyterian is seeking a full-time faculty member to join our growing Division of Neuroradiology. Compensation and academic rank will vary based on credentials, expertise, and experience. Salary range starts at $400,000 (for a faculty member in the first year out of fellowship). Our radiology department offers hybrid and onsite options extending from Westchester to New York City - daytime and midshaft.
Our ideal candidate has experience in interpretation of all imaging modalities and familiar with vascular /stroke imaging, advanced MR imaging, routine ENT and pediatric studies. We value skilled communicators, as our neuroradiology faculty collaborate closely with world-class clinical teams to provide comprehensive care to our patients. Specific clinical and research interest in ENT, spine imaging, pediatric neuroimaging , advanced MR imaging techniques, cancer, stroke, neurodegenerative disorders, and MS are welcomed.
Clinical responsibilities include coverage of inpatient and outpatient diagnostic neuroradiology CT and MRI studies and routine image-guided procedures. Although there is weekend call responsibility, there is overnight neuroradiology on-call coverage by the ER division at all times. The neuroradiology division consists of 15 faculty members with a wide range of subspecialty expertise and interests. We participate in daily didactic and hands-on training of excellent radiology residents and neuroradiology fellows, engage in numerous research projects to advance the field, and hold leadership positions in local and national radiology societies.
The Department of Radiology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center has more than 100 full time faculty and performs over 800,000 imaging exams each year in state-of-the-art facilities.
