The Physician (Tele-Radiologist) will be responsible for, but not limited to the following duties: Provides around the clock imaging interpretation services to remote client locations. Interprets diagnostic digital radiography, CT, MRI and US examinations of the head, spine, neck, body, extremities and internal organs as appropriate. Accesses studies for interpretation through the VISN 16 Picture Archiving and Communications System(s) and reports findings electronically through the VISN 16 voice-recognition dictation software. Communicates and documents communication of life-threatening findings immediately to referring physicians at remote facilities.
