Compensation will be commensurate with the level of training and experience and will comply with the agreement between Cancer Care Alberta, AHS and the Alberta Medical Association. Additional support from Cancer Care Alberta: CCA provides a recruitment support that includes the following conditional on leadership approval: 1. Relocation Support: up to $10,000 for recruits within North America and up to $15,000 for recruits outside North America. 2. AHS Sponsorship Support if required. 3. Immigration (work permit visa support) if required. 4. Strategic recruitment Incentive.

The Cross Cancer Institute, in conjunction with the University of Alberta and Alberta Health Services, is seeking a physician with dual certification in radiology and nuclear medicine to join the current group of 18 imaging physicians. Strong skills in cross-sectional imaging (CT, MRI, and ultrasound), oncologic imaging, and general radiology are a requirement. The candidate will report general nuclear medicine studies as well as PET/CT and PET/MR. Potential for joining the therapy team for peptide receptor radioligand therapy (PRRT) for those who are interested. An aptitude for, and additional training in, multimodality image guided biopsies and venous access procedures would be a bonus.
The Cross Cancer Institute serves as the comprehensive cancer treatment and research facility for Edmonton and all of Northern Alberta. The position is predominantly clinical but will include academic / teaching / administration components. Candidates would have an academic appointment within the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Alberta. The starting income will be commensurate with the level of training and experience.

Candidates must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta. FRCPC status is preferred. We are seeking a physician with dual certification in radiology and nuclear medicine.
