Partnership opportunity for a Neuroradiologist in the beautiful college town of Athens, Georgia.
Athens Radiology Associates, P.C. is a private 30-physician radiology group serving the Athens area of Georgia for almost 30 years. Athens Radiology Associates is seeking a board certified/board eligible radiologist to join an established, collegial, thriving, subspecialty private practice to join our neuroradiology section. Our group provides services to 5 hospitals including a level II trauma center as well as multiple imaging centers. The ideal candidate will be hardworking, service oriented, and comfortable with the interpretation of standard neuroradiology and basic nonvascular procedures including LP/myelography, thyroid and basic head and neck biopsies.
Mammography and Interventional work is not required.

Over 80% neuro primarily diagnostic with basic non-vascular procedures such as LP/Myelography (usually performed by PAs), Thyroid/Neck biopsies.
No mammography required.
Call averages 8 weekends per year and 1 evening (5 hours) shift per month. Weekends have a dedicated neuroradiologist whose primary responsibilities consist of bread & butter neuro cases & specialized consults from local neuro surgery, neuro oncology, orthopedic, ENT and neurology practices.
Tertiary referral hub with a large catchment area
Candidates must be ABR board eligible or board certified, fellowship trained (or currently in a fellowship program) with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
