The Department of Radiology and Radiological Sciences at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) is expanding! We are seeking a full-time emergency radiologist to join our Emergency Radiology section, which is comprised of board-certified radiologists with varying fellowship specializations, including neuroradiology, pediatric radiology, abdominal radiology and musculoskeletal radiology. Our team of emergency radiologists provide evening and overnight coverage to the VUMC and Vanderbilt Children’s Emergency Departments, including a Level I Trauma Center, as part of a 7 days on, 14 days off coverage model.
Position Summary:
Section comprised of 10 fellowship-trained faculty
Services provided to the Emergency Departments at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, including a Level 1 Trauma Center and Children's Hospital
Teach medical students, residents, and fellows
Opportunity to develop and grow professional interests
Academic rank and salary are commensurate with experience
Average commute is 20-30 minutes
This position can be onsite, remote, or a hybrid combination
Position Requirements:
Fellowship training in Neuroradiology, Emergency Radiology, Body Imaging, Musculoskeletal Imaging or Pediatric Radiology preferred
Hold an MD or equivalent degree
ABR eligible/certified
Eligible for TN license
Comfortable in interpretation of Chest, Abdomen, Pelvis, and Neuroradiology emergency room related studies at a Level 1 trauma center
Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and education of trainees and medical students
