The Medical University of South Carolina Division of Neuroradiology has a one-year neuroradiology fellowship position (PGY6) available beginning on July 1, 2025. Our program is ACGME accredited and complies with all ACGME requirements. Qualified applicants should have passed USMLE Step 1, 2 & 3 and have completed prior ACGME accredited training (PGY6 – previous ACGME accredited Diagnostic Radiology Residency and clinical year training) or equivalent training, and be board-eligible or certified by the American Board of Radiology.
Fellows rotate through neuroradiology MRI, CT, and imaging guided procedures. Fellows are exposed to an environment of excellent teaching, outstanding research, and a collegial work environment. In addition to being active team members of the neuroradiology reading room, fellows also participate in ongoing research projects under the supervision of the neuroradiology faculty. The fellows are exposed to a well-rounded spectrum of pathology including advanced brain, spine, head & neck, and pediatric imaging. The clinical teaching is complemented by neuroradiology lectures, interesting case conferences, and interdisciplinary conferences.
The Neuroradiology division consists of eight faculty members certified by the American Board of Radiology. The department is equipped with state-of-the-art advanced imaging equipment including dual source multi-detector CT scanners and 3 Tesla MRI scanners.
