The Division of Musculoskeletal Radiology at UHealth, University of Miami Health System and Leonard Miller School of Medicine, is seeking a fellowship-trained candidate for a part-time faculty position at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Professor in the clinical educator track. The division is currently staffed by 4 MSK radiologists who work across the University of Miami Health System and Jackson Memorial Hospital in close collaboration with colleagues in Orthopedics and other departments in a multi-disciplinary environment. The division interprets all adult musculoskeletal modalities including radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance (MR) imaging and ultrasound, and performs multimodality image-guided interventions. The division is actively engaged in research covering a broad range of interests from sports medicine to oncology, and trains two MSK fellows per year.
Job Functions
Active clinical practice in both outpatient and inpatient settings
Participation in the advancement and education of diagnostic radiology medical students, residents, and fellows.
Interpret musculoskeletal imaging studies and perform musculoskeletal procedures.
Supervise performance of technical personnel.
Be part of the on-call radiology schedule.
Exercise quality assurance as related to the practice of general radiology and musculoskeletal imaging.
Provide musculoskeletal imaging consultation as requested.
Provide emergency patient care as required in the setting of a radiology practice.
Staff off-site outpatient-imaging sites as requested by division director or Chair.
Assume administrative responsibilities related to the practice of musculoskeletal radiology.
Participate in teaching activities related to general radiology as required in:
Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine residency training programs
Musculoskeletal Radiology Fellowship Program
Medical student education program
Technological radiology educational programs
Continuing medical education programs
Participation in the development and management of new and ongoing clinical research activities.
Serve on Departmental and University committees as requested by the Chair.

Medical Degree
Diagnostic Radiology Residency
Musculoskeletal Radiology Fellowship
Certification and Licensing:
American Board of Radiology Certified or Board Eligible
Florida Medical License or License Eligible
Experience:
Competitive applicants will have completed at least 1 year of dedicated subspecialty fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Radiology
Knowledge, Skills, and Attitudes:
The incumbent should be comfortable performing routine image guided interventions.
