POSITION SUMMARY Under supervision of a radiologist, perform selected radiology procedures, such as, but not limited to, fluoroscopy barium studies, joint injections/aspirations/arthrograms, hysterosalpingograms, fistulagrams Assist in facilitating patients for procedures including pre-authorizations, working with facilities to coordinate procedures as needed, processing orders, sending reports back to referring doctors’ Perform history and physical examinations and consents of radiology patients Verbal and written communications with referring physicians, nurses, other health care professionals regarding patients to assist and facilitate the medical management of the patients Other duties as assigned
