The chair oversees all undergraduate and graduate medical education in the department and all basic, translational, and clinical research performed by department members. The chair also serves as chief of the academic division and senior associate executive director of MedStar Medical Group Radiology (MMGR), the radiology professional group for MedStar Health.Th
