The Nuclear Cardiology Research & Development Laboratory is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher in the area of medical imaging processing and quantification. The mission of the Nuclear Cardiology Lab is the development of image-based software tools to support radiologists and physicians in general as they diagnose patients and select the optimal plan of treatment. The main areas of research focus around the assessment of coronary physiology in normal and pathological conditions by means of hybrid imaging strategies. Projects will include processing and quantification of functional and anatomical imaging dataset, 3D/4D data visualization, image fusion, mathematical modelling of myocardial blood flow and myocardial perfusion.
