The Department of Radiology at SUNY Upstate Medical University at Syracuse is seeking Nuclear medicine physician/ Nuclear radiologist. We have a thriving practice with a private group owned PET scanner. Candidates must be board certified/eligible.

The position is multi-faceted including teaching residents and opportunities for research. We are a Level I Trauma and Tertiary Care Health Care Center in Syracuse, NY. Coverage includes a Comprehensive Cancer Center with a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. The 28-member subspecialized radiology group (including 3 PhD physicists) maintains a private Medical Service Group and provides services for 2 hospitals and outpatient clinics. Nuclear medicine duties include cardiac amyloid and DAT scans, basic nuclear clinical studies as well as iodine and radioligand theranostics and involvement in clinical trials. Amyvid, NETSPOT and Pylarify in addition to FDG round out a compliment of molecular imaging studies.There are opportunities for career advancement.
