The Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences with Indiana University School of Medicine is seeking a Cardiothoracic Radiologist for our Indianapolis-based academic radiology practice. The IU School of Medicine is in direct partnership with Indiana University Health Physicians (IUHP), Indiana’s most comprehensive healthcare system.
The cardiothoracic section is currently comprised of seven supportive and energetic faculty members. We are seeking another radiologist to join our team and help power the future of medicine with innovation, kindness, and inclusivity. Academic and clinical track appointments are available. Expertise in the full range of diagnostic and procedural cardiothoracic imaging is desired, including chest radiographs, chest CTs, lung cancer screening, coronary CTA with CT-FFR program, cardiac MR, and CT-guided lung biopsy.
The Cardiothoracic Radiologist at Indiana University will be encouraged to craft their career in a way that reflects their passion and character. They can work with residents, fellows, and medical students in one of the largest medical schools and radiology residency programs in the U.S. There is opportunity for research collaboration with renowned cardiologists, pulmonologists, oncologists, and cardiothoracic surgeons. There is opportunity for dedicated academic and research time with administrative and logistical support provided.
Salary and benefits are competitive. While most of the clinical work for this position is expected to be on-site, some remote diagnostic work is a possibility.
Minimum requirements include MD or DO, eligible for licensure in Indiana, ABR certified or in process, and fellowship in Cardiothoracic Radiology.
