Position Overview
The Department of Radiology and Radiological Science at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neuroradiologist for a per diem (as-needed) faculty appointment as a Clinical Associate within our academic Neuroradiology Division. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a collaborative, patient-centered academic practice while maintaining a flexible work schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Interpretation of neuroradiology examinations, including brain, spine, and head and neck imaging
Participation in clinical coverage as scheduled
Optional opportunities for teaching and academic engagement based on interest and availability
Contribution to the department’s mission of providing outstanding patient care
Work Schedule
Flexible per diem scheduling options are available and can be tailored to the candidate’s availability. The primary need for this position is weekend neuroradiology coverage across the Johns Hopkins Health System, making it particularly well suited for individuals seeking a predominantly weekend-based practice arrangement.
Additional coverage opportunities may be available based on departmental needs and candidate interest.
Scheduling options may include:
Predominantly weekend coverage
Occasional weekday coverage opportunities
Remote reading opportunities
Block scheduling or other non-traditional arrangements based on mutual agreement
Appointment & Compensation
Faculty appointment at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Full Professor, or Clinical Associate level, commensurate with experience
Per diem compensation commensurate with an annualized range of $441,000–$535,000, prorated based on days worked

Qualifications
MD or DO degree
Completion of an ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency
Fellowship training in Neuroradiology
Board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Radiology
Eligibility for medical licensure in Maryland and Washington, D.C.
