Description Patient Care Navigator - Lung Cancer Screening Program Vanderbilt Lung Screening Program Your Role Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) participated as one of approximately thirty sites enrolling patients as part of the National Lung Screening Trial. After the trial's publication, the Vanderbilt Lung Screening Program (VLSP) was established. The program is a certified lung screening center and recognized as a Screening Center of Excellence by the GO2 Foundation. As of September 2021, over 3,000 unique patients have enrolled in the lung screening program. There have been over 5,000 low-dose CT scans performed and over 80 cancers diagnosed.
